Situation
UK Machine Tools markets and supports in the UK , for one of Europe 's largest Press Brake and Guillotine manufacturers, COLGAR Spa.
They required a logo, business stationary and a website. The brand needed to appeal to engineering companies, and so it needed to be very clearly structured.
Central to UK Machine Tools product line is robotic and automated handling solutions with unique software that reduces set up times - something that the company wanted to promote heavily on the new site.
Approach
We created several logo concepts, of which one was chosen and refined into the final version. The design was clean and simple with a blue/grey palette and a fine typeface to reflect accuracy and precision. From the logo we created letterheads, invoices, comp. slips and business cards. We then sourced suppliers to print these items at a competitive price.
The website was constructed from one of the three design concepts that we created, and the final site was built.
We populated the site with content and images provided by UKMT. One of the aims was to promote automation systems, so this was done in the top image on every page.
Finally we optimised the pages for search engines, and submitted the site to 256 search engines and directories in the UK - which is part of a continuing programme of search engine submission by mkdynamic.
Result
UKMT were extremely happy with the work, and use the site as a powerful sales tool for prospective clients. The site conveys a corporate image with concise and easy to absorb information about the products and services.
