1. Who we are
mkdynamic is the marvellous & fantastic web design studio of Mark Dodwell (hello)!
Mark studied Computer Science at Cambridge University, and now spends his time designing websites and building web apps for his wonderful clients. (He also spends far too much time indenting code meticulously, ensuring baseline rhythm and re-factoring semantic markup!)
Apart from creating simple and usable websites and apps, Mark also loves green tea, cooking, Beijing, poker and pretty much everything made by Apple (yes, he has an iPhone).
2. What we do
We design websites using web standards which are accessible and easy to use. Building websites with Content Management means they are also easy for our clients to manage and update.
We build web apps that are simple and enjoyable to use. Using best practice, test driven development methodology means our apps are reliable and easy to extend.
We provide email marketing that is effective and easy to measure. Fully tested email designs and our superb web app for composing and sending your campaigns makes email marketing a great tool for your business.
3. How we do it
We are passionate about the Internet and we code using web standards, making our websites highly accessible, future proof and easy to find through search engines.
Flexible frameworks like Ruby on Rails allow us to take an iterative approach to development. We encourage our clients to engage throughout the entire development process, not just at the start and end of a project.
We're serious about project management and believe that communication is more important than documentation. Our easy to use Project Site is a fantastic tool for collaboration and helps to keep projects organised and on track.
